Dr. Michael Brantmeier A.S., B.S, D.C.
Dr. Brantmeier was raised in the Houston metro area. He graduated from Brazoswood High School in 1985. He attended the University of Houston and Houston Community College, where he received his Associate of Science degree. Following his acceptance to Texas Chiropractic College, he received his Bachelor of Science in Human Biology in 1995. Dr. Brantmeier earned his Doctor of Chiropractic with academic recognition from Texas Chiropractic College in 1997. Dr. Brantmeier has been licensed in the State of Louisiana since 1997; he spent his first year developing a physical medicine and rehabilitation center in Lake Charles, LA. He was then recruited to start a rehabilitation program in New Orleans for Dr. Raul Diaz, M.D., an orthopedic surgeon. This successful program continued until Dr. Diaz?s retirement in 2006.
Dr. Brantmeier then went into private practice. He started the Louisiana Rehabilitation and Spine Institute with Dr. Galvan in 2008. Dr. Brantmeier?s certifications include 108 hours of acupuncture from Texas Chiropractic College, multiple nutritional certifications, and certifications to operate class 3b and class 4 laser systems and shockwave therapy systems. Dr. Brantmeier has been an expert witness in Calcasieu Parish, St. Bernard Parish, Orleans Parish, and Jefferson Parish.
Dr. Brantmeier?s hobbies include cooking, boating, and watching sports. He resides in Metairie with his fiancé Lori. His son, Aidan is a sergeant in the United States Air Force.
