Dr. Juan Galvan - Wilson

Dr. Galvan was raised in Houston, Texas. He graduated from Pasadena High School in 1989. He attended San Jacinto college in 1990 receiving an associate of science in 1992. Shortly after he was accepted at Texas Chiropractic College in the fall of 1993. He graduated with academic recognition for Doctor of Chiropractic in spring 1997. He received his chiropractic license from the state of Texas in 1997 and began working for a physiatrist performing functional capacity evaluations, impairment ratings and eventually became the director of the Work Hardening Program.

Dr. Galvan then went into private chiropractic practice in 2001-2008 working multiple locations throughout the Houston area treating personal injury and work-related injury patients. He also received referrals from orthopedic and interventional pain physicians to passively and actively treat their pre- and post-op patients. In the fall of 2008. he received his Louisiana chiropractic license, and opened Louisiana Rehabilitation and Spine Institute with Dr. Brantmeier until present.

From 2017-2020, Dr. Galvan was part of a multidisciplinary team specializing in the treatment of traumatic brain injury patients. He worked hand and hand with multiple providers that included a Licensed Professional Counselor, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Neurology, and Neuropsychology. He was one of the team doctors for Team USA for the Word Kickboxing and Karate World Championship in Bregenz, Austria, in 2017 and in Calgary, Canada, in 2023.

In addition to chiropractic, Dr. Galvan has 300 certification training hours in Dry Needling. He has been an expert witness in Orleans Parish. Dr. Galván?s hobbies include staying physically fit by way of martial arts. He resides in New Orleans, Louisiana and on his spare time, he is traveling abroad with his son Magnus.
